How do I start?
Register with your email address and a unique password. Then open Chat. If you do not have a topic yet, start with Review Lab. Email ownership is not verified yet.
Do I need a good question before I ask?
No. Tell Little Hannah what interests you and what confuses you. For example: ‘I am interested in sleep and studying, but I do not know how to narrow it down.’
Will it write my assignment?
Little Hannah is for explanation, practice, and feedback—not a finished assignment to submit. Bring your own ideas or draft and ask for one improvement you can make yourself.
Can it find papers?
It can use external research tools when needed and suggest search terms. Search results are leads, not proof. Open the original paper and check its claim, methods, and relevance. Full text may require library access.
Does a checked DOI mean a paper is good?
No. A DOI helps identify a publication. Checking it confirms details such as title and authors; it does not prove that the findings are correct or relevant.
Where is my work saved?
Signed-in conversations are available in Account. Conversations, worksheet changes, and practice answers are recorded for the teaching study and can be reviewed by teachers. Download your editable worksheet before closing the tab or signing out. Restarting practice scores does not erase past study records.
Is my practice score a grade?
No. It records evidence from short check questions to guide practice. The 90% mastery threshold is a system setting, not a course assessment result.
Can I upload a paper or draft?
Use Attach in Chat for images, TXT, PDF, Word, or PowerPoint files: up to five files, 15 MB each. Share only material you have permission to upload. External AI services may process it; keep sensitive or confidential information out.
The answer seems wrong. What should I do?
Ask which source supports the claim, then open that source. Tell Little Hannah what does not match. For deadlines, grading, or academic rules, use the official course documents and ask your instructor if still unsure.
My message failed. Have I lost it?
Check your connection and sign-in status. If the reply failed, review the conversation before retrying. Copy important unsent text before refreshing. Avoid clicking Send repeatedly while Little Hannah is thinking.
What if I forgot my password?
There is no self-service password reset yet. Contact the course team for help. Never send your password in Chat.
How should I use AI responsibly?
Follow the rules for your specific assignment, including disclosure requirements. Check sources yourself and write your own interpretation. A useful test: could you explain your work without Little Hannah beside you?
